The Partnership Architecture

A

Collaborate

We work closely with partners so every solution aligns with their vision, market and operating reality.

B

Innovate

We continuously explore new technologies and methods to deliver forward-thinking, defensible products.

C

Elevate

We use our US–ASEAN network to turn working products into measurable business growth.

The Team

Oqtiva is run by operators, not observers. Our partners have built and scaled technology companies, led AI and data engineering organisations, and advised founders and corporates through market entry, fundraising and exit across three regions.

We keep the team deliberately small and senior. Every engagement is led by a partner who stays close to the work — writing the strategy, sitting in the architecture reviews, and making the introductions that move a venture forward. Around that core we assemble specialist pods of engineers, designers and domain advisors matched to each venture rather than a fixed bench.

Chris Tun is a technology leader, management executive and venture builder with over 25 years of experience spanning technology, management and transformation — blending technical depth, digital transformation leadership and a commitment to applying AI to complex business challenges.

He began his career in software development before moving into technology consulting, holding significant roles at BearingPoint and Deloitte Consulting. At Deloitte he led major technology implementation and systems integration programmes across public services, telecommunications, media and financial services.

In 2013 he established Deloitte Consulting Southeast Asia's Myanmar practice as Country Consulting Director, leading business development in emerging markets, advising multinationals on market entry and delivering engagements across diverse sectors — making Deloitte a trusted advisor in Myanmar's fast-moving business environment.

From 2012 to 2017 he served as a consultant to the US-ASEAN Business Council, the premier advocacy organization for U.S. corporations operating across the Association of Southeast Asian Nations, covering Myanmar.

From 2018 to 2021 he served as Interim CEO of Max Myanmar Group and later as Managing Director of Digital Banking at AYA Bank, where he co-founded AYA Innovation Labs and launched AYA Pay, a mobile wallet ecosystem that redefined the bank’s digital offering through customer-centricity, agility and innovation.

Returning to the U.S. in 2021, Chris rejoined Deloitte Consulting to lead AI and data engineering work in the Strategy & Analytics practice as a Senior Enterprise Architect, delivering solutions that integrate AI, data analytics and strategic insight.

In 2025 he founded Oqtiva LLC, a San Francisco–based global strategic advisory and venture development firm.

He holds an Advanced Diploma in Computer Studies from Informatics, an MBA in Information Systems from the University of Southern Queensland, and an MS in Project Management from Boston University. He was awarded an Eisenhower Fellowship in the Middle East and South Asia Program in 2017.
